7 Things That Aren’t Worth the Fight in a Relationship

In any kind of relationships, whether it is teenage dating or mature love dating over 40, there comes a moment of occasional disagreement. Unfortunately, if a couple is not capable of dealing with it, then it might eat away the whole foundation and leave both with no support, care, and attention. The happiest couples know exactly how to avoid battles that are not even worth fighting.

Some people believe that fighting in a relationship can even be beneficial which is partially true. Due to these little arguments, people have an opportunity to set boundaries. But don’t forget doing it in a constructive and healthy way without shouting, insulting, and abusing each other.

Fight in a Relationship

To fight or not to fight?

  1. Sometimes he comes back home later than usual – do you think it is really something that should be fought about? Instead of doing it, better be proud and supportive as he is striving for a good career that in the end will be beneficial for both of you.
  2. Ex girlfriend texted him – if you know that he is honest with you and never tries to hide something, then there is absolutely no need to have any doubts and moreover start a fight.
  3. He wants to try new things in bed that scare you – the point is that it is pretty hard to tell a partner about sexual fantasies and desires. Just listen to him with respect. After all, no one is making you do it if you don’t feel like it. Give it some thought and either do it or not.
  4. He constantly forgets to unload the dishwasher – if this happens on a regular basis, then it is really something that should be discussed (no fighting). Try to keep your cool and he will be more likely to listen and finally hear you.
  5. He doesn’t want to change – he is who he is and either love him the way he is or leave for good.
  6. He liked some girl’s photo on Facebook – it is silly to forbid him communicating on social networks. Plus, liking someone’s picture doesn’t mean anything serious.
  7. Agirl in a bar flirted with him – you have to understand that he can’t control the person who flirts with him. It is only important how he reacts to that situation.

Arguments are something that happens in all relationships, the important thing here is to be reasonable and not to escalate the situation. Some things are just not worth fighting over.
